HISTORY: Building on our success in 2006, our goal for 2007 was just to stay in the Premier League well we we did that and more and had some very good races and results culminating in 4th place in the major final in Cardiff our best result.

2008 was also a good year that saw Bristol up against some really strong teams.

2009 established us as a Premier League outfit that can punch well above it's weight against bigger teams.

In 2010 we joined forces with another team in order to compete at the highest level and together we formed a racing team called TAO Dragons and again we achieved success.

In the Henley Winter Series a 7.5km race we are currently the highest placed league team and in March we should be awarded the overall Henley Winter Series winners topped only by a Great Britain team. Mission accomplished March 13th saw us crowned Henley Winter League Champions 2010/11

In the forthcoming 2011 League we want to be in the top 5 of the teams and that's where you can help by simply coming along and joining us.

If you would like to be part of a successful team please contact us.

Apart from the racing we spend time training most of the charity dragon boat crews that compete in Bristol and Bath.

We also spend a lot of time with the various Scout Groups in and around Bristol giving sa lot of them their first experience of being in a Dragon Boat and teaching them the importance of team work, which triumphs over the strong individuals.  Hence our "Strength in Working Together".  In June and July 2011 we have given this experience to well over 300 Scouts, with more still to come.

For two successive years we have joined forces with the Ring Of Bells pub in Nailsea and have raised over £15000 for Cancer Research UK. What did we do? …not much really, just paddled a Dragon Boat from London to Bristol in 2006 (193 miles against flood water). In 2007 we paddled 90 miles from Stourport to Bristol with the floodwater.  In 2008 the team took on a triathlon of epic proportions a 90 mile cycle ride, 30 mile walk and 30 mile dragon boat race (two boats) again raising money for charity. All the challenges were highly eventful but well worth the effort.

In 2009 a few hardy members are cycling from John O’Groats to Lands End!

In 2010 three of the team cycled from Bristol to Rome raising funds for Help for the Heroes and Cancer Research.
